        ... the touch lights pad was and that the toilet wasn't in the bathroom as normally found in a hotel room was interesting. Toilet was in its own separate room if you were wondering.

        Managed 4.5 hours sleep, awake at 5 am local time but nice knowing that one already had their boarding card for Auckland so a lie in was in order.

        ... 20 more... She has to check she can take time away from work, but she is pretty sure its gonna happen! So it looks like Vietnam is my next destination... On to Saturday... Chef Sam was in charge of cooking Italian food for 8-10 people... Using the ingredients we could find I settled on bruchetta, spinach pesto (using almonds instead of pine nuts....         ... I liked least was that the cocktails were cheap, but when I had 1 margarita, it tasted nothing like it should have, and I got sick from it. So I wasn't impressed with the cocktails. But I did have a nice bottle of red wine for happy hour instead. On the way out of Moalboal we caught a bus to Cebu. The bus stopped to let out some other western people.         ... strikes well okay was the RER strike which is the best way to get out to Stad du France. So we caught the metro along with 75,000 others!!! It was bedlam and after waiting on hour to try and get on the metro decided we would catch the train back down the line and get on at an earlier stop. That worked!!!         ... thorough. I could have hidden a lot of food under my rain jacket in my back to get it inside.

        A can of beer (Carlsberg of course, as it and Tiger are basically the only beers I've seen advertised in Malaysia) is the same price as everywhere else and only RM5 more expensive at the track than in KL.

        While waiting for the race I saw a New Zealand driver win the Porsche race, the marshall's and the drivers bus parades. I also completed a survey and got a Petronas flag. ...
