... erks us to have to pay to go to a beach which is free everywhere else. The thing I liked most about this place was a great Italian restaurant we found. The food was delicious, no matter what we tried. So, we ate there for 3 meals. We also ate at the local corner stores which have a variety of dishes cooked that morning. But, as they are cold, and they have no way of heating the food, we ate vegetarian food, which really tasty, safe, and provided some missing vegetables into our diet. ...

... and we saw how the mugs, wine glasses, tea pot, are all individually hand made. You can see why the pewter things are so expensive. I'll have to take better care of my pewter champagne flutes. Maybe, we can get something from there when we are on our way back home for Christmas, as we will fly out of KL to get home. On our way there the heavens opened like I have never seen before and we took shelter here and there on ...

As we landed we were treated to a chorus of crying babies. Then a girl who was part of that guy's family group decided she didn't want to wait until the plane had stopped moving before she ran down the plane to argue with children seated behind me about or another. Those had been kicking my seat periodically throughout the flight. A flight attendant had to run down the plan to get her into a seat. Thankfully, it was only a short flight. All ...

Last Friday we arrived at Noni & Michael's top floor apartment (24th floor) after the taxi driver got lost due to Michael giving us the address with an error in it!! The taxi driver took it in good humour and accepted the challenge of getting us to our destination, fortunately we were on a fixed payment arranged at the airport. The apartment is about 45 mins out of KL (Kuala Lumpur stands for muddy estuary) next to the International Medical University where ...
