The road is just slightly wider than a single track! But we arrived to be greeted effusively by Jeanne, who gossiped rapidly in French, some of which I understood. Accommodation that night was 20km up the mountain from Foix in a nice B&B. There was a spectacular view and dinner was supurb, Duck stew!!. The 3 bottles of red that accompanied it helped as well. Also Paul was named Deal champion of Foix.
