We intend staying a while despite the French Romany community moving into our local Aire today. We have the best pitch though (we moved 5 mins earlier) and they're pretty harmless and friendly. The cycling is just brilliant. Beautiful valley's with just the odd farm and Stack loads of tiny lanes and mini Cols to explore. MIDI Pyrenees is a great area. With the most amazing back drop of the snow capped Pyrenees mountains. Clive today has ...

... pass and then a closed road and then to another un-passable pass. Eventually we got to the B&B and were shown to our attic room with mountain views. ... we were extremely lucky in Saint Savin to get one fine day when we ventured to Gavarnie to do the circuit walk. The views were breathtaking because we were much closer to the snow capped peaks in an ampitheatre. Our 5 hour walk involved a climb of 400 metres punctuated by thunder like noises as the snow drifts cascaded down, huge waterfalls , a timid squirrel and the most wonderful scerery along the vivid green valley. The air was so clear and the icy water ...

Merry Christmas! Almost two weeks in at Barry and Virginias place in Foix. I like it a lot! There's a lot of times when I'm lonely and feel like I just want to go back to Sweden to mates and that, but then I start to think about it and Ito what use would it be. I'd be living with my parents, doing nothing day after day after day. I would be miserable. Here I get to do ...
