When you speak to people who have travelled to France, I guarantee that most of them will say they have been to Paris, and Paris only. So when we decided to visit France for the first time, we were off to the Pyrenees, not Paris. Why the Pyrenees, why not? So after hiring a car in Spain and driving up from Madrid into the Pyrenees, we were over the moon that we chose the Pyrenees not Paris for our first visit to France.

July 21st - Who new Murphy had a French Cousin
I didn't know Murphy had a French cousin.
Here we are on our last day of riding and we wake up to persistent rain (Pierre's Law). We have decided on the easier ride option for the day due to Jeff''s cold getting worse and the rain factor. It is a 77kms ride along a valley (up hill) then a modest climb up a Col and then down hill to Froix. Well that's what the ride notes say.
