      ... Emma's a hero and achieved more than anyone else could claim at the camp. We were cold, and quickly.       ... Even Alex had not a word of complaint and ate it all, even stuff he didn't recognise and had never seen before. (It wasn't that exotic but it was for him).

      ... after waiting around at the small port on Lombok for an hour with other backpackers, whilst the locals tried to scam as much money as possible from the tourists.
