We awoke late this morning still a little tired after our late arrival last night. I was just able to sync yesterday's post. ... countries. The kids are gone, all day, with other children, playing. They are some of the first friendships they have formed in a year. I read a book this week; the first one of the trip.

Obviously, we meet thousands of people as we journey and we enjoy telling the story of our trip, how we've done it, and enumerating the countries we've been to. The questions are always the same: "How do you pack for such a trip? ...

... hungry as if all else fails there is always Gyros and Souvlaki (and all the normal western stuff). The meals are huge – the Greeks certainly know how to eat, and they order so many dishes; not just one per person

Took a bus one day towards the south coast and visited a small town - Spili. Nice but after an hour you have seen it. Then you have to wait for a bus back!!! But easy to fill in ...
