    ... of the tower, the shade and a breeze made for a comfortable pause as we sat to watch over the scene. The trip down the tower was even more wonky. The steps sloped forward, and were polished marble. Thanks, La Sportiva, for the grippy trail shoes.     ... the streets blocked to cars all around the Duomo. Only bikes and Taxis are allowed unless you live there or its a Saturday so it can be hard to get around on your own by car.     This morning we left for Pisa after saying goodbye to Alda who is going off to a rehabilitation centre for her injuries. LOVELY lady.
