    ... back towards the station across the filthy Arno River and through the streets stinking of urine. Box ticked and photos taken for history to see Pisa is not a place I would return to and not one I would really recommend, it feels as if the city has been forgotten and it simply relies on the Tower to bring in the daily requirement of money spenders.

    ... for the afternoon was to visit with Pia, my Dad's cousin (my second cousin?) on the way back from Pisa. She would cook us another Italian-style dinner.     ... what you have encountered back home, it is nothing compared to Italian drivers! And we haven't even seen the French yet! So far in Italy we've only seen a handful of nice cars driving.     The school had offered a day trip to Pisa next weekend but it was already filled by the time we tried to sign up.. so seven of us took on the task of setting a trip up of our own!
