... cameras throughout the area that I wasn't aware of during the drive (I wasn't speeding on purpose, even if that is difficult to believe, but I really had a hard time keeping track of what the speed limit was since it wasn't always clearly marked). They even give you a warning that a speeding camera is coming up - but I didn't understand the sign, so we will see if we have an extra charge or two coming out of our Italy ...

We decided to go tartufo hunting with Marco and his two truffle dogs . Rocco ,a white lab, and a puppy, Dora a poodleX, who was in training !! We just loved it. Traipsing through the oak forest, picking red and white cherries straight off trees and watching the dogs do their "job" tails wagging.
It was black truffle season. "We" dug up 3 truffles. Well Rocco, Dora and Marco did !! 2 fairly big ones, worth quite a ...

... praying Catholics from all over the world and ,as we landed in the front row, we felt a bit guilty, so we let some little old ladies into our spots . They were so grateful I think we have cemented our places upstairs!!!

Not much to say on this, we were both very disappointed with Turin. We felt that we done a lot of driving in the city for nothing really, its not the easiest place to get around.

The Bed and Breakfast that we stayed in was very nice , very clean and modern, no complaints there, her English was limited, but we were able to understand each other.

... but we didn't get to taste it. Some of the group bought wine but I chose not to even through the prices were good. A smashed bottle of schnapps at Heathrow still haunts me today. We weaved our way up the street to La Miraja di Gatti Eugenio for lunch. For 20 euros we were given antipasti, two courses and dessert plus wine - great food and great value.
