... off at Cosenza at the Metropolis Shopping centre to satiate Emily's shopping appetite.
It feels like we are in Cairns central only everyone speaks Italian! We find a few items but the kids find a lot more. We spent a few hours there then head back to Fagnano and stop off at the Black Wolf pub for some coffees. We have dinner at Pappi's and get to bed by 11pm. It's an early night.

Very pleased today to be at sea. It's been non stop for us for over two weeks now - so really nice to just chill and do nothing much. Which is exactly what we did. It was some of the best prosciutto I have ever had! After some ...

... with paintings, busts, and pottery. So cool to be in a hotel with such history. It took about 4 hours to make our way back to Calabria, then we hung out at the Turano house, took naps, and got ready for a party the Turanos threw. It was a gathering of extended family and we just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful ...

Today was the reason my family came to Italy! We met friends and relatives of my mom's, including my 87 year old great aunt Marietta who cried happy tears when she saw us. They are all such warm, loving people; they instantly hug you tightly and make you feel like you're home. We toured my dad's hometown and saw the house he grew up in. He knows the people who currently live there so we were able to go inside and look around to try and visualize what it looked like when ...
