Amazing character hotel in the centre of the old town. Staff very helpful and friendly, big comfortable rooms, large shower with multiple settings, excellent breakfast. Very memorable stay and will come back again.

We arrived in Girona at about 11am. Our room was not ready yet, so we left the bags at the accommodating Hotel Llegendes and started our stroll through the city. We took a walk into the local village, Capmany, this morning, found the cafè/bar and got an ice cream and found the deli and got lunch, a nice walk around the narrow streets before we headed back to the site. After lunch we had a game of pétanque and chilled out in the sun. This evening we will pack up ready for our move tomorrow for the first of our longer stays.

We went to the history museum that displayed materials from Roman times onwards, but it as an inadequate account compared with the impressive displays and curating at the Catalonian history museum in Barcelona. The Jewish museum in Girona seemed to be the best one.
