    The menu del dia at the Hotel Llafranch was good value for money although nothing special.

    ... trees. One of the towns enroute was Murcia,.. quite a large town,.. the capital of the province of the same name. Following our dear 'Kate' into the centre of Murcia, we appeared to be destined for ever narrowing lanes AGAIN!,.. so reprogrammed the GPS and headed for the coast.We made great time and actually covered 340+ Klms from Granada to arrive at a spot south of Alicante well before cocktail hour.     ... it was really cool. Unfortunately there were some weird nude old people that we ignored roaming the sand dunes (We kept our distance fortunately). We then searched aimlessly for some dinner but all the places were shady or too expensive. So we returned home to the hotel for some surprisingly great food at the hotels restaurant. - Grace

    ... a quick bakery lunch before hitting the road to Lescala. On the way we stopped at he beach and the water was freezing cold when we put our feet in. Declan and i ate a whole bag of custard croussants. Soon later we reached our hotel in Les Roque by the coast. We went to the beachfront for dinner and ice cream before going to bed. We love getting messages from you all! :)
