          ... regions of Hokkaido which will be the worst hit area. I had tried to go out and ride to the top of Higashi-Azuma mountain this morning but it was just too dangerous. I had never been on a bike in those kinds of conditions where I felt unstable and prone to being blown into traffic. I cut my ride short and headed back to the hotel and had a nice soba lunch at a restaurant run by a young couple.
