... ahead in the guidebook sometimes. After 4 months on the road, I don't always get to it. We couldn't decide on our next city or even country and planned to head to Albania. But after we talked to the guys at the hostel in Kotor, they recommended this mountain village. It's on the train line and should be beautiful this time of year if they get a blanket of snow.

And boy did they. We took a bus to Podgorica, the sleepy capital ...

      ... condition.

I took several photos in the village and took advantage of the lights of the setting sun. Then I returned to the house and it was soon time to eat. The dinner was really delicious: we get bean soup, boiled meat, salad and home-made yoghurt. Our accommodation was superb in Theth. We stayed in a huge house owned by a local family and our hosts prepared all meals for us. It was sad to know that the next morning we had to say goodbye to this idyllic ...

... seem to have a serious aversion to personal safety.

My theory still kind of holds true: The driver was gruff, yet stopped for us to take photos of interesting things we wouldn't have otherwise known about. He drove scarily, yet he seemed to be on the ball somewhat. He did however drive pretty much on the wrong side of the road the whole way back home unless someone was coming in the opposite direction in which case he swerved back into our lane at the last ...
