... k, mi ide posledný autobus do Chiang Khong na hranicu. Mal by som ho chytiť a okolo pol osmej už hladat ubytko,potom sa natlačiť ryžou a pozerať na druhú stranu Mekongu.... Ak autobus nechytím, ostanem v Chiang Rai, večer sa natlačím(pri spomienke na Adriku) na tržnici vyprážanými shrimpsami a polievkou v hlinennom hrnčeku :-) a ráno prvým busom okolo pol piatej, piatej, budem musieť dohnať ...
The end of the endless spring / honey
... also saw lots of fresh honey being sold next to the road. Which we happily bought to put on the bread and in the yogurt.
There was one amazing thing we had to learn: you don't need flowers to have honey! Apparently, there is some kind of disease of Oak trees that makes them produce some kind of very thick liquid. This syrup is hanging from their leaves to protect them from something. From it the bees are also capable of making honey, and it tasted great!

Voyaging to vienna
... found them quite easily (blonde and tall!) and then dropped them at their hotel so that they could freshen up after their flight. We then headed straight downtown for some sightseeing and dinner. ... realized that we were sitting with the choir, not good! But we found a spot and everything was fine. There were not many people of our age at mass, but you could tell that there were some families of different generations. They didn’t have a collection plate, which was the first time we have seen that in Europe, but there were contribution boxes in case you did want to donate.

This high up it would have been almost impossible to penetrate this castle by force – the hill it stood on was so very steep and the walls were so high.
