At about 6.30pm I went out to see what the city was like all lit up, the town hall looked amazing, unfortunately I didn't take my camera or mobile out with me as they were on charge back at the hotel, not to worry I have lots of photos. End of another day and it was a good ...

... muffin. Before I knew it we were boarding the plane and off we went on time. The flight only took 1hour 15mins and very smooth apart from the turbulence as we descended into the clouds over Hamburg, the airport was easy to navigate and found my way to the train station with ease, I struggled a little buying a ticket from one of the automated ticket booths, nothing wrong with the machine just me not getting how it works, easy really, choose your ...

... to Berlin. It only cost 9 Euro!

    • I decided to walk back to the hostel via the Binnenalster. I passed a large convoy of police cars outside one of the hotels. They must have been waiting for someone important inside.
    • Laura, an English lady from the walking tour messaged me and we caught up for a beer in the afternoon. You're aloud to drink on the streets in Germany so we grabbed a few beers from the dairy and found a seat outside. It's also much ...
