    The first time I heard about Zell am See, Austria was in the final episode of Band of Brothers. For those who haven't seen it, it's a WWII mini series about Easy company of the American 101st airborne, soldiers who fought in Europe from D'Day until Zell am See. The series was also the main reason for visiting Bertchesgarten and the Eagles nest.     ... the boat terminal, we decided to walk to the cable car but it was closed. We had a very late lunch, sitting in the sun on large wood chairs, eating cheese dumpling soup was pleasant. Back to town for a wander, tried the cable car there but it was closed too! But we really enjoyed the charming town.
