Our dinner was also PHENOMENAL. I had never seen or heard of Raclette before, but it's a do-it-yourself style dinner where you put anything you want on a miniature pan and cook it underneath a small stove until the cheese fully melts onto everything you want it to. I was in heaven it was so good. The night also consisted of christmas carols (in German of course) and some dice/card games, some German which I learned, and some American games which I got to teach ...

We are in a regular suburb in a regular residential apartment block, the apartment is big clean and just perfect for us in Berlin, buses near, underground near. Not like the markets in less developed parts of the world. Hot though. Probably up to 32 degrees and it was hard to keep the water up. Spent a lot of time walking around and after having looked at many (!) men's undies stalls John bought a pair for about $3. That was all. ...

... our fellow plane travellers no one had left as no luggage had been off loaded. And again a long long wait until suitcases became visible. I got my pack pretty quickly but John's were nowhere to be seen. And saw we never did. The carousel went around and around but no grey Mont pack. It had been left behind in Frankfurt with next plane arriving Thursday evening by which time we are meant to be on a train to Utrecht. Nothing else to do than reporting the pack missing and it ...
