    Yoga, chanting and snow storms

... was very relaxing and interesting. At one stage we were asked to choose the colour of the cloak that would wrap around us to protect us, and later the choice of colour was supposed to reveal what in our lives we were supposed to be concentrating on in our meditation. During the meditation yellow had come to mind, but I remember lying their thinking “Yellow?? Yuk, pick green instead”. Another Australian lady, Victoria, had had the same issue with yellow. ... was set up for us and we were able to listen to the surf in the background. Lovely! Decision time as we perused the menu. Prawn sizzlers sounded really nice. Now I do not know what any of you imagine when you think of a sizzler, but we think skewer, grill, drool!

    ... 3 pound 50 for my seat!

We arrived in Goa at 5.30am and got on a bus to Colva beach. We walked along the beach for about an hour with our huge rucksacks to Benaulim where we have booked 2 nights in to a gorgeous wicker beach hut right on the sea front. Feels like we are on holiday. We cant believe how different Goa is compared to the India we have seen already. Our plan for tomorrow.. sunbathe all day ...

... The market is a feast (sometimes overload) of the senses, women in colorful saris, shining jewerly, smells of insense and that distinctly India earthy smell, sounds of drumming, all in 100 degree heat. At four hours I had hit my limit, and began searching for the tiny dirt path that would lead me back to the hotel. It took me a good ten minutes to find it, during which I began having day-mares about being stuck in the market forever. I walked by today on my way to the beach, the ...
