    ... to Venice. It is a other high speed train that is going under a lot of tunnels. So far it as stopped in Bologna, and the next stop is in Padua. Soon we could see the ocean and our train passed by a docked cruise ship. We arrived in Venice at 1:35pm. We checked into our hotel at 2pm, unpacked, then ventured out at 3pm for dinner.     ... standard 35 minute ride time, while other gondoliers can only do 1 or 2! (We believed him, looking at some of the other drivers!) In any case, it was all very memorable, and definitely a highlight of the trip for all of us.
