... seeing the food from the other side of the table and recognising the level of precision required to serve wonderful meals to 3500 passengers and 1500 crew members!

The rest of our day was playing Bingo to win the $2200US jackpot - no we lost!
Swimming and hamming it up with some of the staff at the cocktail bar before we dressed for our second formal night and the best dinner of the cruise! Check out the pictures.

... changed out of ours right after dinner and back into more comfortable clothes for the remainder of the evening activities. The first big production show in the theatre tonight, however, I've read that because this is 3 "back to back" 7 day cruises, the shows in the theatre will be repeated each week. If this is so, we'll certainly run out of shows to watch after this week. Time will tell. Ciao for ...

... were more in line with our budget. They had lots of interesting things Venice is known for: masks, glass, jewelry and gelato. The gelato was good but it's popular all over Europe. We checked out the nooks and crannies as we weaved our way toward St Marc Square. This is a large gathering place for both Venetians, tourists and pigeons. We spent some time there listening to the small orchestras playing at the restaurants throughout the square. Vendors hawk ...
