    The hotel where we are stayIng is right next door to the funicular and a ferry jetty which services the series of islands on the lake. We managed to beat off the private water taxi touters, one who got a little snotty (too bad) and made our way along that most beautiful promenade to the main terminal in town.

The scenery around even this main tourist part is just lovely, huge mountains coming down to the lake with colourful houses and interesting buildings all along the shores. It's easy to see that the lake came about as a result of an old glacier that had carved its way through the mountains.

    ... a few minutes, and soon we were following the signs to the lighthouse. We were also on the hunt for another geocache. Already the day was incredibly hot and we were sweating and we hadn't even started our 30 minute walk up the hill.
