We had decided to take the Ferry up to another village on the lakeside, but actually arrived at the Quay in time for an earlier ferry. So we ended up catching the 9:10 ferry to Urio. As we climbed on board, the rain started, and as we cast off, that rain changed to horizontal, so we abandoned to top deck to go downstairs.
Luckily when we reached Urio the rain let up for a while. The only cafe near the dockside turned out to be a restaurant, despite having "cafe" written ...

We reached Como at about 5pm, and checked into our hotel. That left us time to walk down to the quay, have a drink at a cafe popular with the local sparrows, and wend our way to a delightful restaurant round the corner from the hotel. ... bit earlier than last night but to the same restaurant Trattoria L'Antico. It was very good again though the service at the end of the night got very slow as they had a big party arrive. July 22, Tuesday – Bellaggio etc
Sttill overcast but warmer today. We took the water transport again – long boating day. Firstly we took a leisurely 2-hour ride up to Bellaggio. What a gorgeous water way it is. I am still cacking away with my cough but hopefully it will eventually get better. Back home for a good rest after a great day. Tonight we did a passagatta down to the waterside again as we can access free wifi there – to upload blog, look up camera information. This is a really nice town just to hang around in.
