A couple weeks ago Lorena, my Italian friend and I went on a little trip to Central Argentina. We camped in a National Park near Cordoba. The trip was AMAZING and we saw many cool things. The highlight of our trip was seeing the condors in the gorge. For those who do not know condors are the largest flying birds in the world. ... despite the frustration we felt before, we were happy we hung around.

After getting some good photos we moved around a bit for a few different angles but nothing really compared to our first spot. The last car went around at about 4:30 which gave us enough time to go to the toilet before getting back on the bus. ... so instead of sitting around we went out for a walk to look around the town centre.

It was unbelievably busy for a Thursday morning, with everyone rushing around to buy Christmas presents, so we steered clear of the main shopping street and visited the town's three plazas. The city isn't nearly as beautiful as Mendoza and its streets tend to be surrounded by high rise buildings, graffiti and it has got a lot of litter on the streets.

... our reservation exists and we are able to sort the bill. Head out on the town and find McSpew for breakfast. We are so desperate for regular bad coffee we are here. If there was a Starbucks I would have beaten the door down to get in. Unfortunately we are stuck at McDonalds, but the coffee is regular bad and oh so drinkable.
