... so we were careful where we stepped! The turtle hospital has lots of big tanks for the turtles and the biggest turtle is about 1.5m long and it was 35 years old. The turtles were in hospital for injuries from fishing boats, and some had to have flippers amputated. But that is ok as they can swim ok with three. One of the turtles was biting people at a hotel on the river and the hotel people said if you don't take this turtle we will, so they kept it in the hospital for a while ...
