    ... an enquiry at the Municipal Office, we were directed to a municipal bus park with a regularly serviced ablution block. They told us to stay there “No problem. No pay. Quiet tonight.”


    Hmm. We were not so sure about the latter part. The carpark was about 60% full – big tour buses and mini buses being the main occupants. The toilets were acceptably clean 24x7. The gents had a cold shower – we guess ...

    ... road it was over 30Km and there were some serious switchbacks and slopes to contend with as we came over the spine of the peninsular. Dave was triple challenged. He had to read the GPS, get Brutus along the route whilst watching in his mirror as his wife manoeuvred the Ford. Oh, add to that he was in full protective kit at 34░C air temperature and not moving fast enough for the wind chill to help.

    ... But sadly we do have to eventually drag ourselves away and get back to our loungers for an hour or so before the British Grand Prix starts at three o'clock local time.
    One red light, two red lights, three, four, five... out and go, go, go...!!! But not the best start for Lewis, pole position soon turns into second place as Philipe flashes past, followed by third place soon after when Valteri also gets through after a failed attempt by Lewis to retake ...
