... countries. Apparently the Czechs drink more beer than anybody else in the world. No wonder - it is cheaper than bottled water at around $2 per pint!! Unfortunately they also seem to eat a lot of meat. However, we happened to come across a vegan cafe today and had lunch there. That means it's Darren's restaurant choice for dinner tonight (so I can't imagine we'll be going vegan again). It was then ...

... I know I shouldn't complain but I'm at the halfway point now and travelling solo can be rough. It was good to hang out with some English speakers yesterday that's for sure. I'm hoping Amsterdam will be a better time for me! There's actually not that many English speaking tourists around, I guess they all come at the height of summer. ... asked. "America", I said as I saw him snicker. I bounced the suitcase down the steps and made it with help onto the metro. I really struggled trying to get the suitcase up the stairs when I got off the train, but was rescued by a young man who struggled as well. I can't wait to see her ...

After a 3 hour wait at Frankfurt in the great Lufthansa lounge facilities I boarded LH1392 at 0830 for the 0900 departure to Prague. the aircraft, an A320 was parked on a remote stand so we were bussed to it. I took my seat 2A and we departed on time for this short 40 minute hop over to the Czech capital. A light breakfast was served which was superb, a selection of cheeses with prosciutto and a hot bread ...

... him. He quoted a price of 300 CZ Korunas (about $15) for the trip. Considering the distance this was a good price. When we got there we figured out we would have no way to get back, so we asked, and he actually waited for us. He took us all the way back, and we were thinking - this is going to cost us, for sure. Do you guys know- this man only charged us 500 Cz korunas for the whole ride. That's about $25. Unreal.

Back at the hotel we decided to go up to the top of ...
