... like asphalt was not common in the southern Czech Republic. Indeed, the next 50km or so were like driving on the surface of the moon. Somehow though, the distance passed and we entered the city limits of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic has been a turbulent country throughout its history. The country was originally formed as the Duchy of Bohemia under the power of the Great Moravian Empire as far back as the 9th century. The Moravian empire being ...
I woke up around 8am, but Colleen didn't wake until after 9am, but she didn't sound or look well. The cold she has at the moment is so up and down. We had a bit of slow start this morning; catching up on sleep, emails and washing.
When we finally headed out the door it was almost 11am and we started by heading down Vaclavske Namesti. There are lots of little stalls in the square and we soon spotted trdelnik - a sweet unleavened pastry. Maddy and I shared one. It was really good.
We then continued on and past the Municipal Hall. They had classical music concerts on there ...
