We left Fethiye and headed south. Time flew as we headed towards our first stop. Butterfly bay. It was a spot taken straight of a post card. Turquoise water that was the perfect temperature. A stunning shale beach and clear blue sky's. The island was lush and green. There wasn't a great ...

At 2pm we jumped on the bus and head to a carpet factory. It was really well done and they showed us the whole process of how they are made. Although at the end of the day you knew the sales pitch was coming. 3 people in the group bought something so I guess they had a successful group.

Rolling into Fethiye at around 5 we checked into our hostel and our last night on ...

It was a different world we got into when we arrived in Fethiye on the Mediterranean coast after the 760 km long overnight ride spent in semi-sleep. This was the Mediterranean coast and it was warm, in stark contrast to our chilly pre-dawn arrival in Amasya just over a week ago. The servis from the Fethiye bus station dropped us outside our pansiyon but we had to haul our bags to the terrace as that was where the reception was. It was not much of a reception as the ...
