... We also got a plate of Greek snacks. The tzatziki was really good! It was interesting to learn that 80% of the wine that they make on the island stays on the island. Then we were driven to the capital of Fira. From there we were able to do a little bit of shopping before we rode the cable cars down the mountain to the harbor where the ferry boats took us back to the ship. Once we got back to the ship, we showered, went to dinner, and were in bed by 11 ...

A little more time but way less money.

... definitely ate our fare share!

We only had one full day to explore the beautiful island of Santorini so we decided to hire a scooter to fit it all in. We went to see the red beach, the white beach and the black beach, we had small whole fried fish for lunch up on a hill with a great view out over the ocean and we enjoyed a mojito at one of the many bars running along the sand where hundreds of beach umbrellas and sun beds are set up for tourists. We ...

... strip. It's only a 5 min walk away. We picked up some playing cards and grabbed some dinner. We went to this place called Cesare, that was recommended to us by Natalia. Steph had stuffed tomato and pepper and Sean had kleftico, which is lamb slow roasted for hours with veg, feta and potatoes. We came back to the hotel hoping for a better day tomorrow.
