... to play and run around without any hassles. Dave and Jenny prepared the starting of the Beef, so we could eat it for dinner the following night. The next day we decided to go to Cluny to visit the Abbey and the town centre. We were lucky, as it was Saturday, and there was a market on. So on October 30 - we visited several wineries - tasted various c******nay types - visited a family owned winery a purchase a few bottles of pouilly fuisse - my favorite - had a great dinner at the B and B
October 31 - visited Cluny and the Abbey - the revolutionaries in 1790 destroyed the most beautiful abbey -- we seen this a lot throughout France - we then went to a 1600 chateau - beautiful visit.

The other side, we settled into the 430 mile journey south via Dijon to Macon. We had only picked the town because it had a hotel and Buffalo Grill in close proximity to each other and the motorway. The Ibis Budget hotel was just as expected – clean and boring however the meal was
great and the little bar opposite the hotel filled the rest of the evening, getting us in the holiday mood nicely.

Going Solo

... It was halal food and the stews were so good. One was lamb with lentils and the other chicken with olives, potatoes and carrots. So nice. I'm glad we found this place because its convenient and great winter food for my wife.

Nothing interesting otherwise except I noticed lots of police and more cameras whilst driving. I never really noticed them before, so I think its likely I probably have a bunch of speeding fines waiting for me...oh well.

... had been eating 'en terrace' were scattering inside with their plates. The narrow streets were rivers and we parked up but were trapped in the car for half an hour before it was possible to get out and into the town. We dived into a local Wine cave we had seen the day before that did wine by the glass with a selection of tapas.

The only place to eat for us was actually in the cave and we ate there at a high table surrounded by hundreds of bottle of expensive Burgundies. The ...
