Great stay ... not one of those flash over the water places ( USD$750+ a night), but a beautiful beach and great facilities and rooms. The BEST breakfast restaurant setting ever !!!!
Nice to spread out in the room ... bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen areas

    Honeymooners Heaven

One thing up front: you WILL meet a lot of honeymooners! The rooms are clean, the bungalows seemed nice and spacious (from outside) and the beach is beautiful. Unfortunately the restaurant prices are over the top (although the portions are small) and the roosters are annoying (but the hotel can't do anything truly).

All in all a solid stay, discounts are made if you go diving with the onsite dive center Scubapiti, just at least a watercooker in the basic rooms would be nice, to have at least a cup of tea or a noodle snack without having to go to the restaurants in the hotel.

The service at the reception desk is good, the restaurant staff takes their time and they are right: it's your holidays, isn't it?

... and see us tomorrow night because she was working a different shift. I don't think we will see her again before we leave but I don't think either of us will ever forget just how caring and lovely she has been to us. For the rest of the evening we had tea of chip butties and then just chilled out in our little bungalow. There's been a few lizards running about the place so we had to make sure all bags were shut so we didn't get one in there. We haven't quite worked out how to get ...

Leaving the “tour vehicle crowded landing” we descended to an agricultural station where young island kids spend time working there. Again we had a taste of several marmalades produced in the ...

We arrived in Tahiti early this morning around 6 AM. It had just rained ( I think that is always the case) but it was sunny then. I had forgotten how hot and humid it is here but it felt good. As usual our transfer from the airport was not there, but we did meet many interesting locals at the airport while attempting to identify our driver. We finally snagged a cab and were on our ...

To our amazement, minutes into our drift dive and we began checking off all of the things he had mentioned!!! Everything we saw was breathtaking, especially the school of eagle rays. I can hardly ...
