    The best beach in Moorea

Great stay ... not one of those flash over the water places ( USD$750+ a night), but a beautiful beach and great facilities and rooms. The BEST breakfast restaurant setting ever !!!!
Nice to spread out in the room ... bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen areas

    Honeymooners Heaven

One thing up front: you WILL meet a lot of honeymooners! The rooms are clean, the bungalows seemed nice and spacious (from outside) and the beach is beautiful. Unfortunately the restaurant prices are over the top (although the portions are small) and the roosters are annoying (but the hotel can't do anything truly).

All in all a solid stay, discounts are made if you go diving with the onsite dive center Scubapiti, just at least a watercooker in the basic rooms would be nice, to have at least a cup of tea or a noodle snack without having to go to the restaurants in the hotel.

The service at the reception desk is good, the restaurant staff takes their time and they are right: it's your holidays, isn't it?

I think I have heard that line before. It’s the stuff movies are made of, to be shipwrecked on one of these little islands.

We sailed to Cook Bay, where Captain Cook had landed on one of his expeditions, and then passed some resort bungalows built over the water, ...

A small tug was dispatched to tow us in.

Oh, oh, I feel a rant coming on. Speaking of war, it was an honor to meet Leo Thorsness. But it irks me beyond belief to hear people say, “Thank you for your service”. Why? Because the American public is hiding behind the phrase. If they really supported the troops, they would sign up for duty. But only 1 percent of the public is protecting our “freedom”. (In quotes, because I have trouble believing our freedom ...

We pay the lady in US Dollars for a coffee and double espresso, she hands is back a mix of tokens, 1000 CFP bill, and various CFP coins probably more worthless than pennies. We board the bus and head towards our ferry through downtown Papeete. It's a very tropical but worn ...

... boated out and snorkeling for a couple of hours! We spent at least 4 or 5 hours out on the water, and paid our new friend back with a case of beer! Our kayak trip was our last activity before heading off to Kiwiland, and was a great way to end our three week stay! This was on the northern side of the island when we were camping, so we walked to the same beach where our dive shop was located and managed to rent two kayaks to make the ...
