... nice people. A group we had recently which comprised 5 families represented, only one didn't have maids and housekeepers, and various others helpers, around them the whole time in the home world. We haven't been spoken down too at all which is plus. A couple, who are our colleagues in Morzine, had the children who were staying openly referring to them as servants. My reaction to that sort of thing would probably have got me fired. Sometimes we feel that is in fact what ...

... it very funny, but she was ever so serious.

Today was the same routine, Nanny walked Brody over to ski school and Matt and I took Marni along to her school. She was a little more focussed and happy about it today. Oops, no notes again! Refuge Elena quite new and modern. Large dorms but partitioned into bunks of 4. Located on a high ridge overlooking the valley, where we had a long break and arvo tea. Met some interesting groups of Italians, see the funny hats. It seems that all of Italy has these 2 weeks off, so the trails and refuges are full. Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...

    Pancakes,pirates and Poison Ivy

Well Mardi Gras and Pancake Day have fallen on the same day so rather than choose between the two Helen and I did both!
The scrapings of the cupboards and fridge held enought to make sugar and lime pancakes.
Last minute decision to go out and join the party meant last minute costumes. A raid on my wardrobe offered up 'sparkly pirate', Helen's gren dress and some makeup gave us 'Poison Ivy' and Beth's ...
