Another travel day from Bordeaux to Rennes. Rennes is heading west and close to the west coast. The reason for going to Rennes is it is about an hour away from the famous Mont Saint Michel, and has a dedicated direct bus.

Departed Sarlat about 9.30 am and spent the best part of the next 8 hours or so getting to Rennes, approx 570 Klms north of Sarlat.
Had our first taste of Toll fees on the A84, €14.50 for a stretch of about 100 Kim's, it was worth it to zip along at 130 kph for a while.

Today was Friday Sept 4
This is our last full day here at the house. We had already made arrangements to go back to the French friend of our friend for the Internet. Her husband, is home today so we park on the dead end. The dogs come to greet us, all three of them. I have bought snacks for the dogs but only Grommit likes them and takes them. The other dog takes one and goes and gives it to Grommit. How funny.

We drive to Rochefort en Terre next which has been described as really picturesque. It truly was. Again, managed to find a parking place but a lot of guess work on which way to drive and where to park as a lot of one way and very narrow streets here.
