... to La Rochelle left at 6:12, so they didn't have much time, but we showed them the church and bought churrus (which are so delish) and Bridget and I swooned over how beautiful dutch is-we even got taught some, so we're working on our counting now hehe
The bus on the way back was so packed, so it was another standing ride, but visiting the island was so worth it and I would love to do it again just for lunch, or to visit another part of the island!

The bikes are out for their inaugural trip to the market for fruit veg bread and wine we arrived at lunch time it's a lovely place will take some pics we are on the Atlantic coast.
