    Today we left the wonderful Refugio Bonatti. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! We had a short day planned and wanted to be sure we didn't miss too much from the trail the day before after taking the bus. After a slow start to our day, we back tracked a few hours and enjoyed a hole without our packs! Not surprisingly, we found more wild flowers and mountains to capture in photos!     ... through the woods and tall vegetation- but oh, we had no idea want was in store when we turned the corner! Wow! Palenta with cheese seems to be a local specialty. Sometimes it is good... Each place we have stayed at has beer, wine, soft drinks, so Johnny always has a couple of beers to ease away the days aches.
