      Sunny in Argeles

Another decent night at Collioure, dry and warm. Then a drive around and a look-see! Found the route to the fort on the cliff and one could stopover there, gratuit. Drove around a little and found one could also park at the 'gare' dans la centre Ville de Collioure, so we will, later after shopping and ...

Our last day and what a cracker. Port Vendres in France was the most gorgeous village with little alley ways winding all through the houses, shops and cafes. After putting all our things inside we walked th 50 metres down the cobbled street to the ...

... get over our exhaustion here and be ready to start 'touristing' again in Madrid. Shall we talk breakfast here at our beach front hotel? All kinds of yummy things, I ate bread and soft cheese and jam with my cafe con leche. Fruit? Yogurt? Scrambled eggs with tomatoes, cheeses and cured meats? No. Bread and jam and coffee. Maybe I'll eat fruit and yogurt tomorrow. Probably not. Ok! We're off to walk to the Dali house museum in Port Ligat. ...

      Perpignan - pleasant surprise

A travel blog entry by craigang58 on Sep 30, 2014

We left our hotel at 11am bound for Perpignan, something over an hour away. The day was dry, partly cloudy and mild, and outside of one minor patch of road flooding, and some inundated low lying fields, and fast flowing and dirty streams, we saw nothing of yesterday's mayhem. We wanted somewhere to have brunch and not having seen an eatery as we drove the course set by GPS, and also having taken an earlier turnoff at a roundabout than we should have, we ended up in a ...
