    ... like something out of a fairytale! Loved it. Also saw Chateau Amblois on the way! We were exhausted by the time we got to Mercure Bourges and had a beautiful French dinner at les petites plats! Was high on trip but also randomly attached to the hotel. Foi Gras, terrine, steak cheese and Creme brûlée! Slept well ...

    Back in Vienne for an unplanned two night stay. Today is Good Friday and their token gesture was to have hot cross buns on the breakfast buffet. Interestingly Good Friday is not a public holiday, just another work or school day, however Sunday and Monday are public holidays.
