... long run all the way back to Tignes and a fab last day of snowboarding.

So for the final night we took it easy and headed back to Alpaca. It's what you expect from a ski lodge, animal print throws, wooden walls and apparently there's a couple of wolfhounds in residence somewhere. Jonas brought his French friend Max who unwittingly provided our entertainment. His English was obviously better than ...

... Tom again on Thursday. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas, again. The link lifts over to Val D'Isere were closed until late in the day due to wind. I eventually ventured out and bumped into the boys who were building a kicker at the end of our road. ... 65 quid each to transfer flights (by this point we'd looked up the next flight on our phones, and had priced it at 105 including luggage, so bizarrely, this felt like a bargain). In fact the biggest ball ache was having to collect our bags (much to the amusement of the women at the outsized baggage conveyor belt, who were incredulous as to how anyone can make it to an airport in plenty of ...

    The Beauty of Real Mountains

... can't believe I actually got to experience it!

The first thing we saw when we got off the bus was a dog sledding team, I knew immediately that I would love it up there. The dogs were all so excited to get running and I was just holding myself back from going up and saying hi to all of them!

I spent the day snowshoeing around the mountains and got to see a few mountain ...
