    ... D road once again. "Look up there." we both call out together. It is a castle high on a hill. So Lucas quickly changes course much to the annoyance of Mrs TomTom who repeatedly tells us to make a U turn when possible. Up the tiny winding track we go with Bobba really struggling in first gear twisting and turning along the narrow road passing by beautiful healthy very fat cattle grazing, we hear the bells around their neck clanging as they walk along.

    ... ticket for Barcelona to Nîmes France, leaving at 13:20 arriving at 16:50. And from there I had to buy another ticket in France. And of course this is France so no one speaks English!!     ... How many of us can say that? Today was cold yes. It topped 19c in the middle of the day but as soon as we turned the corner it dropped back again. 16c Winter has arriveth. In the lower rhone the trees were a dirty yellow showing signs of dropping leaves. Up here they have turned a beutiful bright gold and burgandy red shot through with the white of the spruce trees.
