Winding down to the little old towns, Andy commented on the black skid marks all over the roads here. He also commented that roads would be great for a Tarmac rally. After a few kms I commented that for the amount of black skids in the same location they must have a car rally on these roads, which we later confirmed looking online and talking to our lunch hosts.

One of things we appreciate staying at Colombe d'Or is that they ask you if you will be joining them for lunch and/or dinner. If you do then your table is reserved all evening for you. It does not matter what time you come down no one else gets that table. Yesterday, evening was lovely, again, and we sat outside in the courtyard and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Kris, Tanya and their three kids, Kai (6), Cody (4) and Kaycee (4 months) came down from London for a visit this weekend. We had a blast with them! We mostly hung around Antibes with a day trip over to Villefranche. Our days were spent taking the kids to the park, walking around Antibes and stuffing ourselves with fresh bread, pastries and crepes.
