... the war. We opted for a self-guided "owl" walk which was very well sign-posted with signs along the footpaths and numbered owl plaques at each of the highlights. Finally we enjoyed a full English home cooked Breakfast at 8:30am consisting of bacon, eggs, toast, cereal and fruit. We went straight back to our room for another sleep before heading for the picnic at 10:30am, however when the alarm went off, walking an hour to have a picnic in the windy rain didn't seem like such a good idea, so we slept till noon. While we are in Bourgogne, we will mostly be in the départment of Côte-d'Or, where the most expensive and prized Burgundies are found (not that we will be drinking these!), so we decided to bone up a little on our wine knowledge.
