... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". The snow is further down the mountain, the trees are all golden and we are now off to watch NZ v Australia in the Grand Final. Go the Mighty All Blacks. ...

... the tram back to Geneva CBD, walked around the lakeside, had a drink lakeside then back to room for a rest. Dinner at Chinese restaurant opposite the train station. Went to Brittania pub for a show - ACDC cover band, not very good. Very cold ...

... Winnipeg we always did our weekly grocery shops on Sunday. Here everything is closed except some restaurants and convenient stores on Sunday. Supposedly there are some grocery stores open but haven't seen any. I thought this would be a big adjustment but so far we really like it. Although you do have to be organized to makesure you have everything you need it means you have a full day to do family things on Sunday. ...
