After breakfast, we met our guide for the day, Attilio. He was a hon not a hun and took awesome care of us throughout the day. We tooled up to Chamonix-Mont Blanc in air conditioned comfort, which was a welcome relief on a day of high heat and humidity. We were very excited to see blue sky when we woke up! Since the wether was good we decided to take the cablecar up Grands Montets. ... in hotel, which was very nice and we had two connecting rooms, also very nice! Still sunny at 7pm so wandered out for a quick look at Geneva. Down to the lake for few photos, and a couple of souvenirs and then into a restaurant for dinner. Ordered roast chicken which was very yummy, really enjoyed some veges for a change! ... is expensive in many respects, the food on offer is fantastic- a foodies dream. Loved the many different versions of steak tartare, veal and rosti & curried mussels which were small in size and were served from a deceivingly small pot.
