    ... so we were prepared and keen to see everything in real.

    And so it turns out it’s not just two fat guys bumping into each other ;-) Just kidding!! You have to give it to them and respect this sport and these athletes. Initially, I was wondering why Philippe wanted us to see this, but I have to say I do not regret one minute of it.

    An early start, as we had an 8am train to catch to Nagoya. Our time in Takayama is over after three days and the sun is out for a second day. The forecast is 33C.
    Our train trip was 2 1/2 hours and we only took an overnight bag with us as we are doing a one night stay. Our luggage has been forwarded by courier to our next hotel. This is a very common practice in Japan so our hotel arranged it all for us. Convenience stores also organise the process for you.

    Well today we started off early no breakfast met our tour guide just to get to the station by taxi. Caught the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Nagoya 350klms per hr took about 2 hrs fantastic had breakfast on the train which we bought before we got on.
