... us all the sites and explaining the history. She was excellent and there were just 6 on the tour.

She started the tour showing us a map of the town explaining Cesky means Bohemia and Krumlov means wandering river which describes the place beautifully. There was a town on the other side of the river called Latran which also produced beer.

I bullied Jess into another early start, partially because the hostel warned that if we didn't arrive by 6pm they give the beds away to others. Apparently during summer there are always people who wander in looking for a room. ... had a very strong accent and was difficult to understand. Never the less we enjoyed the tour and it finished with a beer tasting. We tried 3 of their beers: a dark beer (which was delicious), a white beer (also very nice) and a malt beer which is unfiltered. All very tasty. It is a very old brewery and has gone through a number of owners due to the communist's control. It is now owned by the Czech people.

... a cup of tea, checked email and news form home. We planned our time in Prague and then I cooked dinner. The kids in bed, Ro and I set to blogging and photo sorting, this now seems to be how we spend our evenings, before heading to bed ourselves.

Some quirky things we are noticing on our travels. The light switches are opposite to home, up is on and down is off. The pillows are all square and huge, there are no top sheets just doonas, ...
