... letters, this Computer is programmed for German and keeps throwing in Capitals! the letters on the Keyboard are also in different places, most crucually, z and Y - so I Keep putting z instead of y! the question mark is also in a different place. Now I wouldn't call myself a touch typist, but it's more automatic than I realise!


PPS sorry about lack of entries so far, no wifi in house! Enjoy this one ...

... With food in our stomachs and a place booked, we headed off to park the car and check in. We had somehow lucked it, and found a beautiful newly renovated hotel only 2 mins walk from the old city, and it was not much more than we were going to pay for a waterlogged camp site well out of the township!

... and cheered on as Germany won in extra time. It would have been very cool to be in Germany for the final, but that wasn’t meant to be (more on this later!!!). It was cool just to be in Europe amongst avid supporters who were jumping on the table and singing in celebration at the win. What a game!

The next day after a sleep in we grabbed a sandwich and found a picnic spot on the river embankment watching the ducks and more rafters, cementing our desire to join them. ...

... at 8 to have dinner, but since Max and I had eaten already we just got dessert. The dinners looked really good, most people split the bohemian feast with either pheasant or chicken and it had millet, dumplings, ham and a salad. I had a Zech cake and I e cream with bananas and blueberries and egg liqueur. It was yummers! I sure am eating my way across my trip, but I had to tighten my belt a notch, so all this walking is sure paying ...
