... The buildings here are odd, they have painted them to look like brick work on some buildings what looks to be fine wood work is just plaster and paint. We were told this is the 2nd largest castle complex in Europe with 40 buildings comprising it. We arrived at the gardens and they were large with great views of the town from the bridges connecting to the gardens. The grounds seem to go on for ages. Such a massive space, with flower gardens, a big ...

... t see hardly where you were going. Plus very uneven ground& must have been the original underground cave. Not my cup of tea but worth it for the experience. So glad we live in Australia as these people behind the "Iron Curtain" had a hell of a time just to live until there independence in the 1990's. ... the town. We kayaked 16 KM in total including 4 big rapids that you have to cross by going into concrete "chutes". (Jen 3, Rapids 1) In hindsight, an inflatable raft might have been easier but less cool! I took some cool pictures of the rapids too.

We just spent our last 100 crowns (about $5) at the Mini-Mart and got 3 large beer, 1 bag of chips and a big chocolate bar. Super-score!
