... meal. A couple of bottles of Cote du Rhone and not a late night. Sluggish start today not for any reason but had an appointment at my bank to try and get Jeff a card to access the account. Not an easy task! got there in the end, just have to send some details of address in Australia to them and other forms. Also have to figure out how Jeff managed to wash his passport! Luckily still in one piece but needs an iron. Hope there's ...

... though. The house itself is not a big deal, except for the reproductions of his paintings. The garden is nice, the Japanese garden in the back and the water lilies in the ponds were beautiful though. I think I got some decent photos, but I still haven't found the hookup for my new iPad to check them. Will find out eventually, when it's too late to to do anything about it. Looking out of the window we couldn't have been anywhere else in the world apart from Parts. It has been a great choice of accommodation and I would recommend it to everyone. When we eventually got out we visited Notte Dame Cathedral and then ...

... The problem was the no. 2 train was out of service so I ended up walking a LOT to get there then a lot more walking in the cemetery. But I did find Chopin and Edith Paif's grave sites and then happened to stroll past Jim Morrison's as well so snapped a quick picture of that too.

To get back to the room without the no. 2 train I had no choice but to take a taxi, and that cost me 14 Euros including the tip, but I could not have walked it. A very busy day indeed.

... the kings. (It is no longer a functioning church and the relics are now in Nôtre Dame.). We have attended a number of classical music concerts here, but while it is acoustically a wonderful experience, the stained glass is more fully appreciated during the daytime. The windows contain more than 1100 scenes depicting the story of mankind from Genesis to the Resurrection, and various ...
