... it. Later that night we went out to see the Eiffel Tower light up. Oddly sunset this time of year is at 10:30PM. There is a light show on the tower for the first 10 minutes of every hour until 2AM. The lights twinkle. We caught the 11PM show. There is lots of activity around the tower at night. Lots of people laying on the grass under the tower to watch the show. It was a great ...

We've had another great day today. The sun was shining by the time we were up and about, which was very exciting. After breakfast, and a bit of dawdling, we took the Metro to the Arc de Triomphe, planning to walk back home via the Champs Élysées. Map in hand he suggested we walk via the interesting maze of of side streets that criss-cross the various areas of central Paris, the result, after a couple of hours, very disgruntled ...

We went to the Louvre today! It is different from when I was last here in 1986 and is split into three separate 'houses' or areas. Each displays different areas of art work although there is some overlapping. It is a sensationally beautiful building. Dylan wanted to explore on his own so he went off happily with his map while Aunty Stephanie, Me & Max went investigating areas/items of common interest. We were obviously impressed at all ...

... walk for Brian from there back to Mary and our hotel, where we rested up prior to our next excursion. We'd decided that this was to be the night that we did the Bateaux Mouches trip, and thought that we'd aim for the 8pm one, by which time it ought to be dark.
What about the medical problem? When Brian reached the hotel, he found the ever-resourceful Mary was modifying her sandals. The straps had been irritating the sores on her ...
