... The boys felt like the abbey itself wasn't super, but just seeing the whole Crazy, cool Mont Saint Michel was fun. We left the rock and walked back to our hotel one more time. We had time to do some souvenir and snack shopping before boarding our bus at 5:30 pm. This time we road a bus to Rennes where we caught a TGV train back to Paris. All the travel was easy, and back in Paris Montparnasse station we took a bus back to our neighborhood. What a fun side ...

... the line was too long and slowly moving to think about it.

As I said, the weather was perfect so the conditions for looking out over the city were ideal. This took quite a time, so time to purchase some lunch at a local patisserie and took it back ...

    ... a little.

Once outside we caught the metro once again to the start of the Champs Elysees which is nearly 2 km long. We started at the Place de la Concorde. A lovely promenade walk ending at the Arc de Triomphe where we just looked around outside as it was still raining. Metro again and this time towards Montmartre and Basilique du Sacre Coeur. Feet were getting very weary but managed to climb Montmatre Hill ...

    Deja vu

A travel blog entry by jennymgg on Oct 26, 2014

... we discovered the Latin Quarter, our next destination, wasn't far away, so we decided to walk rather than get the metro. On the way we stumbled across Shakespeare and Company bookshop. This is the most famous bookshop in Paris and has many English language books. However, we didn't go in because there was a big line just to get inside. I found Boulevard Saint Germain, the street we were after, and nothing there looked familiar. We turned left, as ...
