    ... restored into a comfortable home. Marie-Cecile was born in this family home 60years ago. We were ensconced in two spacious bedrooms on the top floor, complete with ensuites and views over the river.

    After pre dinner drinks of Cider and Champagne, we had a fabulous feast of foie gras, pate de campagne and potted pork, main course of roast fowl, a 4 cheese platter then Tiramisu. fantastic. A well fuelled night of crossed language made for a most entertaining night - lovely ...

    Wonderful flowery quiet and peaceful campsite by a lake. It had a great playground and pool with jacuzzi, and I think we were all very happy with the campsite. Small villages around.     ... with nerves a jangling, (Clive was at times) but I loved every minute of that crazy drive. We swapped over at the bottom, or the bottom we thought but it still had a few surprises before we hit the open road passing through some interesting towns. Quillan (very nice), Couiza (interesting), Limox (yuk). Then we went up and over The Black Mountains to finally see our destination in the distance but not before passing by Mazamet a very interesting town ...
