        But it’s all an experience, doing car repairs en français. I’m amazed really, that at half past four on a Friday afternoon a) anyone is up for doing any work, and b) they can whip the wheel off, and the tyre, and fix a puncture, all within about 15 minutes.

        ... meal we had, amazing value and the staff were excellent. We had the 21.90 euro menu, this included 3 courses and 1/2 litre of wine each and there was plenty to eat as well as being very tasty.Another eve with returned the hospitality and Jane and Russell joined us on Sega for a meal, another fun eve together. Yet again high winds set in and we had some very heavy rain, instead of a 3 night stay in La Rochelle it became a 5 night stay. One day ...

        There’s a great big display case by the tills in here, with different Opinel knives contained within. There’s an Opinel museum in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. You can tell that this handy pocket knife is a much-loved icon of the area. ...
