The hiking season has definitely started.
Our exact itinerary was as follow:
Train/Bus: Aarau - La-Chaux-de-Fond - Salignelégier - La Theurre
Hike: Etang de la Gruère - Gros Bois Derrière - Petit Bois Derrière - Montcenez - La Combe
Train/Bus - La Combe - Glovelier - Basel - Olten - Aarau
A cold late start but stunning beautiful clear weather, for
about half an hour, and then the clouds came in. However it wasn’t raining so
outside with us. Still feeling a little piqued from the previous days exertions
we set off on a short walk to observe the Le Saut-Du- Doubs waterfall. Very
pretty it was too. The lake nearby had a lot of small fish in it.
After a slow walk back the rest of the day was spent on housework
Werner and I rode from Beaune to Liesberg in 3 hours. It was a short but good ride.
Overall we had an excellent time, saw some new interesting places, and were very good riding pair.
