... the bodies. We climbed on our bikes and rode 10km up the beach and found a big ship that was now earth bound and zebra's and elephants and white horses. I kid you not. Check out my photos!!!! Now I think the whole of France is at the beach and half of Spain. Its all so different to what we are used to but thats why we are here! Tomorrow we shall go to Carcassonne or maybe the next day. We shall see how hot it ...

... St Jean where we found a sandwich place. Lori, Steve, Peter and I were sitting there when Tom ca me by.. He came and joined us and told us the story of a little dog we had all seen on the side of the road, which was now in the van with Caroline who was attempting to find the owner. I will leave the details to Tom, but I think the pup is currently in their room in the hotel. Tom then led us the rest of the way to the med, with some excitement when we found ourselves on a ...

Well this day was truly a slice. I left the hotel with Peter, Steve and Gilles at 8:30, and arrived at the hotel in Prades at 7 pm. The nominal route was 115 Kms with 6 climbs.

Our little group cut off the first two climbs thus reducing the length by about 12 Kms. We then started our climb of the Col de Pailheres which took us to 2001 metres, with the last 450 metres of altitude being done ...

A travel blog entry by timsparling on Jun 24, 2015

... time, he had grown on us quite a bit. For sure he was timid and confused, and maybe a little scared of everything that was going on. Still, we could tell that he had a very gentle and laid-back personality. The hotel in Argeles-sur-Mer accepts pets so we are keeping him for at least one more day and frankly by this point we've given him at least a temporary name (Arthur Perpignan, because we found him near the big French town ...

What a relief, mi premio lingua. Straight down the A9 to Figueres. Fab buffet luncheon at Restaurant el Jou Vell reputedly the finest in Catelonia. Few miles east of Figueres on N260. Took hotel in Roses, all most agreeable and effortless. Just languishing about in total guilt-free mode really. Sun, sea, fish, cocktails, tapas. Costa Brava is fine.

    Dali Museum at Figueres:

Today rode out in the Cap de Creus park, see pictures every one tells the story. ...
