        ... of famous doctors and surgeons, the second had hundreds of old books, mostly all from the 18th century, and the lady showed us some and even had white gloves to touch the books like in history documentaries!
        The third floor probably was the most shocking with real-life skeleteons, babies in jars and just a very wide variety of dead things which my brain refused to admit were real.
        All in all a very educational visit, but a tad traumatising ...

        ... gallon of mussels. I had a fish salad. The best ever and, so fresh. The town had a lovely square with Shops! After...we sat and people watched. Ice cream time. 17.00hrs. Our accommodation is nearby on foot. Wow, it's like a palace inside. Decor superb, furnished like a Chateau. High ceilings with Crystal chandeliers, grand entrance and stairs.         The bread- a staple everywhere in France- a light, crusty baguette for less than one euro.

        ... as it meant we had more time with them. That evening we all went out for a meal in Rochefort to a lovely restaurant in the corner of the main town square.
