There was also a park along the river, the river splits into 2 in Saintes and one part turns into a little lake and the other part must keep going to Cognac…another city in this region that we would like to visit one day.

How did I forget Dana's birthday?! We had a wonderful day of desserts. Everyone brought a dessert and it was very yummy. We played cards, rummy and Egyptian war...it was a lot of fun.

We're living the high life now!

Last week, we got our T.V all set up AND just a few days later we were lucky enough to get a fouton the same day that we emailed the lady about it...and she even delivered!

      We are very happy.

We borrowed the thing to make Raclette from Meredith's French family that she lives with and we had whoever wanted to come, over to the apartment for some French cuisine and UNO! It was a good night. I'm really glad I was placed in Rochefort with these other assistants.
