... zu Angeln , quasi auf Augenhöhe mit dem Fisch zu sein .Aber auch das Angeln vom Wasser aus mit so einem unglaublich wendigen Gefährt mit dem man sehr unzugängliche stellen befischen kann gefällt mir sehr ! Arcarnon is a lovely place and some where I would go back too for a holiday (if they let us back!!). Lots of very good quality shops and restaurants to go with the great beach area, it’s also being heavily developed with nice quality city style apartments.

... sand before it drops down to the blue water, with a pool area and beautiful restaurant/terrace, where a band was setting up and the servers wore only white.
We had a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc... it was perfection.

On the 14th of July in France we celebrated Bastille Day, France's national holiday. A friend and I decided in the early afternoon to catch the train to Arcachon, the bassin side town about 45 minutes from Bordeaux via train.
