After traveling together for 5 months, we said our goodbyes to Wade, Alyssa, and Christine and sent them home with hugs and kisses for our friends and family. ... and everything. Its quite amazing how much having children in the chalet takes up so much time. When they are here there's heaps more to cleanup in the morning (sometimes finish 1.30pm), and because they eat early we are in the kitchen from about 4.30 till 10pm. When its just adults, we are finished in the morning by 11am and then we start about 6pm and finish about the same time so have much more time to ourselves.

... we stopped in at the bar for a ridiculously expensive pint before catching the gondola back down to Chamonix. We got on a different bus so it didn't stop near our hostel so we had to walk for about 10min which was cold and painful. Once back at the hostel we had a quick shower them went out for a bite at our usual pub then into the town centre for a couple of drinks.
