      Caught a taxi from Saint Come to Estaing it would have been 15.5 walk, quite manageable however Jane is still unwell and Helen seems to have caught the bad cough as well. We had made a booking in a nice hotel and so on arrival we were able to explore the town. Quite magnificent really. It is dominated by an ancient chateaux owned by Valerie Giscard ...

      Aubusson (don't you love predictive spelling -"ambush on")... Treas had her heart set on visiting Aubusson although she hadn't really owned-up - just subtly kept navigating us that direction.       ... on the menu..... The poor guy tried to explain, and indicated his stomach, and then we managed to get the word "pork" as well, so it was decided that it was pork-belly....       Well, I guess that we are now into the "Chateau-a-day" (CAD) stage of the trip... I very rapidly got totally sick of the fricken' NAFBC cycle.....(Not Another Fricken' Big Church/Cathedral) phase, and thankfully, the new CAD stage is quite ok by me...
