... parents and a big group of their friends and family were taking a river boat from Paris through Provence and down to the Mediterranean, so I thought it would be fun to meet up with them since I too had plans to be in France. After a bit of research, I became obsessed with Provence and the lavender fields and decided I wanted to join at that part of their trip. Anyway, we arrived at our gite by 4pm, laden down with cheese and wine. We had a swim, (not me! Too cold!), tea and a walk. Weather isn't overly hot, there's a strong wind. But it will ...

... city. It is important to know less than 4,000 people live here, and that number is decreasing every year. Yikes! The walk was wonderful though! What tiny goregous streets... and we saw great views from the Viviers Cathedral built in the 11th century! (And it is officially a Cathedral because it still houses a Bishop! If no sitting Bishop, then just a plain-Jane Church).

We jumped back on the boat for an ...
