Heavy overnight rain bringing a smile to the few wineries that have still to complete their harvest. The hot July and August sun and no rain has made the harvest very small but it is expected the quality will be superb because all the taste will be concentrated (Interesting every five years seems to bring the great vintages) The area we are in only allows Syrah grapes for red wine whilst Marsanne and Roussan are grown ...
