    ... s distinct from its neighbours. We've been told the reason for this is so the fishermen can find their homes in the winter fog after fishing ! It appeared to be a fishing village. A lot of the shops were selling lace and linen clothing tablecloths doilies etc. Each island is a bit different in character and Burano was well worth visiting.     ... the world - but i am a little ignorant on these things). We wandered around the factory outlets and stores, along one canal street, across the canal bridge. Magical. The fancy glass outlet we looked in was amazing, chandeliers like flowers, the most amazing glass vases. I was impressed, we had gone out there because Hazel has a glass bowel fetish, but this stuff was actually really interesting, colourful, beautiful.

    ... plate that slice of pizza covered all of it! After we finished we left we had to catch a Water Taxi to a station called Arsenale which was near our apartment. Near was an understatement. We had to walk for 10 minutes twisting and turning through the back streets of Venice. Our apartment looks over a small canal with a bridge that is right outside our door. So cool!!! ...
